The Technicoll 9412 MMA glue is the ideal solution for connecting different materials, such as: metals, concrete, artificial- or nature stone, thermoplasts (PMMA, ABS, PA, PS, PVC, PUR, PET, PC), wood, thermos hardeners, (GRP, CRP, SMC), ceramics, rubber, epoxides and polyesters. This glue has a visco plastic consistency and a yellowy color. Furthermore, is the MMA glue resistant to divers temperatures (-40°C, +120°C) and the action of acids and solvents. The product will last long and makes sure that the glued connection has a quick power transmission, thanks to the flexibility of the glue construction. The initial connection takes place in 20 minutes. The product is packed in 50 ml duo cartridges.
The bonding materials have to be dry and clean, specifically free of oil, grease or solvents. In many cases sanding the surface will strengthen the glued connection. Place the MMA glue pattern in the holder of a suited glue gun (DuoMix-Bond (dubbelloops)), lock this in and remove the cap. Spray a small amount of glue to test if both components can flow freely. After that, you can place the mixertip (DuoMix-Bond Mixertips) and lock that in. Glue in a thin line, drop or film on the bonding surfaces. The connecting components will have to be mounted and clamped withing the processing time of 6 minutes. The final attachment strength will be reached at room temperature after circa 24 hours.
