Frencken Contact Adhesive Elastic is an easy to process elastic contact adhesive. This adhesive is water-based, has a high initial strength, 100% solvent-free, quick drying and economic use. This contact adhesive has a permanent open time, parts can be glued after the glue is applied. It is especially produced for flat bonding, such as, isolation materials, felt, textile, foam rubbers etc. This Frencken Contact Adhesive Elastic can also be used to make materials self-adhesive: such as paper, cardboard, plastics etc. The adhesive dries up transparent.
For application, the surface must be flat, dry and dust– and fat free. The glue can be applied with a trowel, spray or roller. The Frencken Contact Adhesive Elastic dries relatively fast, circa 30 minutes. The drying time will be longer when there are thicker layers applied or more porous materials used. This adhesive can be both 1 or 2 sided applied. For a high ultimate strength, we advise you to apply the glue on both sides.
It is best to remove the wet glue residues directly with a wet towel. Hardened residues have to be mechanical removed. It is advised to cleanse your tools, directly after usage.
