Hot-melt adhesive systems for the precast concrete industry
Concrete bonding: it doesn’t have to be difficult. Our Tec glue guns and hot melt Tecbond adhesives offer the perfect answer for bonding structures and architectural elements such as foams, wood, plastics and model boards (pressed plates in forms) to concrete. This method is fast, easy and cost-effective, outperforming other fixing systems available to the industry such as magnets, welding, drilling, bolting and double-sided tape.

Casttec adhesives are specially formulated for industrial and professional applications, such as joining detailing strips and other architectural elements in all types of concrete. This product range has a direct adhesion that does not require the use of primer. It is also easily removed from the mold, causing no staining. In addition, it eliminates the need to drill holes in the concrete floor for mechanical fasteners. Another advantage is that there is no need to clamp and allow the adhesive to harden!
The Casttec concrete adhesives are 43 mm and hence are
suitable to use with all the glue guns mentioned above (Tec 3400, Tec 6100 and Tec 6300). Using this equipment in combination with our selection of nozzles, the adhesive can be applied in dots, beads, or spray patterns. Unsure which glue gun is the most suitable for your project? Accessories for the concrete industry
In addition to glue guns and corresponding adhesives, our range also includes various accessories that can be used when gluing concrete. For example, a sturdy metal holder to hang your glue gun, which can be mounted both horizontally and vertically. Furthermore, we have extension cables of 6 and 12 meters, giving you more flexibility, so you are less tied to your workstation.
For an extended service life, we recommend using the glue guns in combination with a regulator, filter and water separator. Various spare parts can also be ordered separately on request.
