Assembly and after repair adhesives.
An universally applicable type of adhesive does not exist. Each product delivers higher performance with certain materials. Therefore, it is very important to base your adhesive selection on the materials and applications you will be using.
Headlining and floor upholstering.
Contact adhesive provides a permanently elastic bond because this adhesive is mostly dissolved rubber-based by means of naphtha, cyclohexane and butanone. Contact spray adhesive in particular is suitable for the application of cladding because it creates a direct bond. In this case,
we recommend the Bondtack HT and Bondtack Eco product grades. Both product types are high-quality spray adhesives with fast tack, due to its good heat resistance and waterproof bonding, these glues are good to use as car adhesive.
Soundproofing.
Insulation materials, such as various types of (bubble) foam, can be installed in vehicles to reduce ambient noise and/or shield speaker noise. The main reason for using sound insulation to make the car quieter is often to reduce ambient noise. Insulation foam is best applied with a contactspray adhesive (for example, Bondtack HT) or a hotmelt spray (for example, Spraytec 430). Both products are easily applied to the desired surface by the spray mechanism. Contactspray adhesive is universally applicable, and has very strong bonding strength. Spraytec 430 has been specially developed for sensitive materials such as insulation foam, and therefore delivers even higher performance. However, this glue type requires a one-time additional investment in a spray hot melt glue gun, such as the Tec 7300, for example.
Attaching glass or mirrors.

For bonding mirrors or glass, it is recommended to use a UV-curable adhesive in car mirror attached with adhesive such as the MD UV Star. These types of products polymerize when exposed to ultraviolet light , allowing the bond to be established on command. The MD UV Star adhesive is thin and liquid, and supplied with an UV light.
Repairing windows.
Repairing car windows, for example, can be done with special glass adhesive such as Bondtack MS 12-003. Since the product has a silyl modified base, the difference between this adhesive and other glass adhesives is that Bondtack MS 12-003 is thixotropic, or pseudoplastic. Also, this product has excellent surface adhesion without the use of a primer.
Bonding loose parts.
Application of loose parts made of metal or rubber, for example, such as trim strips, is most effective using a two-component adhesive. Our range includes various two-component automotive adhesives, based, for example, on poly (PP, PE, Teflon, EPDM), acrylic (glass, plastic, metal), polyurethane (plastic) or epoxy (plastic, extra strong). You can find the full range here.
Repair holes or tears in wood, plastic or metal.
As a repair adhesive for filling holes or cracks in wood, plastic or metal, we recommend using the Bondtack with adhesive. This is an epoxy-based adhesive developed specifically for this application and is available upon request.
In addition, cold welding agents are commonly used for minor repairs. A cold welding agent is an adhesive that removes the top layer of a surface to bond it to the other material, for example, a 1K (one component) adhesive. In addition to universally applicable cold welding adhesives, which are suitable for bonding anything, there are also cold welding adhesives developed for specific situations. For example, Technicoll 108 is a cold welding adhesive specifically suitable for T-bonds and narrow surface bonding of polycarbonate. It is also usable for bonding polystyrene (PS), acrylic glass (PMMA),ABS and PETG.
Features product range
Bondtack CA-2K is a 2-component ciano-based adhesive that provides very high performance on a variety of materials: from metal and plastic to stainless steel, rubber, and porous absorbent materials, wood, paper, and cardboard. The viscosity of this adhesive is tixotropic (pseudoplastic). This product has a long application time, approximately 35 minutes, and is available in transparent and metallic color for an invisible bond. Hand strength is fast (5-60 seconds) and open time is 3 minutes.
Bondtack Ciano 60-001 is a broadly applicable cyanoacrylate adhesive suitable for bonding among others, PVC, ABS, PBT, rubber and absorbent materials. This adhesive is relatively thin and liquid. This product comes in a 20 or 50 gram vial.
Bondtack MS 120-003 is an automotive adhesive ideally suited for bonding windows. This product is thixotropic (pseudoplastic) and adheres excellently to the surface to be bonded without the use of a primer.
Sealant guns for double spray: Bondtack adhesives are often combined with a sealant gun for targeted and efficient application. Our range includes both plastic and metal sealant guns, with different mixing ratios (10:01 to 1:1).
